Welcome to the Deaf Men: Lean On God Retreat website.  By registering for or participating in this retreat, you agree to the following terms and conditions.  Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered environment for all attendees.

1.  Registration & Payment

  • All attendees must complete the registration process fully and provide accurate information.

  • Registration is confirmed only after receipt of full or partial payment.

  • We reserve the right to limit or deny registration if necessary for safety, capacity, or other concerns.

 

2.  Refund Policy

  • Due to the planning and costs involved in this retreat, registration fees are generally non-refundable.

  • However, we understand that unexpected situations can arise.  Refunds will be considered in the case of a death in the attendee’s immediate family.  In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible.  Thank you for your understanding and respect for the planning efforts behind this event.

  • If you are unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control—such as airline cancellations, hospitalization, or required work obligations—your registration fee may be applied as a credit toward a future Deaf Men: Lean On God Retreat.  Please contact us as soon as possible if this applies to your situation.

  • If you are unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to another person.  Please contact us in advance with the new attendee’s information so we can update our records.  All transfers must be completed before the retreat begins.

  • In the case of event cancellation by the Retreat Director and Team Representative, a full or partial refund may be issued.

 

3.  Code of Conduct

  • This retreat is a Christian event.  Attendees are expected to:

    • Show respect, kindness, and patience to all participants

    • Refrain from disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate behavior

    • Follow instructions from retreat leaders and staff

  • We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave if behavior is unsafe or not aligned with these values.

 

4.  Health & Safety

  • Attendees are responsible for their own health and well-being during the retreat.

  • Please inform organizers of any medical conditions or special needs in advance.

  • In case of emergency, we may contact emergency services as needed.

 

5.  Assumption of Risk & Liability

  • By attending, you acknowledge that participation in retreat activities involves some level of risk.

  • The organizing church, leaders, and volunteers are not liable for injuries, loss, or damages unless caused by gross negligence.

  • Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings.

 

6.  Schedule & Changes

  • Retreat details (schedule, speakers, location, activities) may change if necessary.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to communicate updates in advance.

 

7.  Media Consent

  • Photos or videos may be taken during the retreat for ministry and promotional purposes.

  • By attending, you grant permission for your image to be used unless you notify us in writing before the event.

 

8.  Accessibility & Communication

  • This retreat is designed for Deaf men and will prioritize accessible communication (e.g., ASL or other agreed methods).

  • We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all participants.

 

9.  Agreement

 

By registering for or attending the Deaf Men: Lean On God Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
